Happy Tears for a Hen

When the guest of honour walks into her function and her first reaction is to cry happy tears, I cant help but feel flattered.

Working closely with the host to organise this special Hens Day, this High Tea was definitely one of my favourites.  The venue was an amazing home on a rural property with lots of room.  I had so much fun organising the decorating package which included our little antique red bike, hay bales, welcome chalk board and most of all I got to take Audrey out for the day too.

Guests were greeted at the front door and given an apron to wear to fit into the theme. Very vintage and very elegant day.

The Great Gatsby High Tea

What a wonderful way to celebrate a hens night, good old fashion RnB on the playlist mixed with a Great Gatsby theme.

The venue was a gorgeous boutique home in Elwood.  The evening started with High Tea treats and socialising followed by the arrival of the token hens day topless barman to make drinks for the ladies.  Once the drinks started flowing and everyone was a bit more relaxed it was time for the games.

My favourite novelty for the night was the home made photo booth with props and a white board to write a message to the hen, then pose for either a digital or polaroid photo.
